Job boards are built to show you jobs.
JobVega is built to find yours.
Most job sites earn their money from employers. That shapes what you see, in what order, and how much of it, and many of them keep AI agents out. JobVega is built around the person looking: your fit decides the order, and your own AI assistant is welcome.

The difference, row by row
| Typical job boards | AI job apps | ||
|---|---|---|---|
| Where jobs come from | Anyone who posts, plus listings copied from other sites. Duplicates, reposts, the occasional scam. | Usually gathered from job boards. | Directly from employers’ own career sites. |
| How they’re ordered | Keywords, recency, and placement employers pay for. | A match score. | By fit. Fit scores can’t be bought. |
| What a “match” means | Your search words appear in the posting. | Often one number, with little explanation. | Every requirement graded, with a reason you can check. |
| Must-haves vs nice-to-haves | Yours to work out. | Usually blended into one number. | Kept apart. A missing nice-to-have isn’t a no. |
| When the detailed analysis happens | Often a quick match rating; the check of each requirement runs only when you click, one job at a time. | Varies. | Automatically, for every job that could fit. Nothing to request. |
| Getting started | Build a profile, fill in forms. | A profile, a quiz, or both. | Upload the résumé you have. Check what the AI read, and set your preferences. |
| Alerts | Every new post that matches your keywords. | Daily recommendations. | Only after the full analysis, when a role clears the bar you set. |
| Company research | Company pages written by the employer, plus reviews. | Varies. | An AI-researched profile of every employer: office days, time off, equity and more. |
| Your own AI assistant | Often blocked. Automated access is usually against their terms. | Their AI, inside their app. | Welcome. Connect any assistant that supports MCP to your own data. |
| Privacy | Profiles built to be seen by recruiters. Signaling you’re open is a risk. | Varies. | No public profile. Nothing to see unless you choose to share. |
| Applying | One-click apply makes it easy to send a lot, and everyone else does too. | Some apply for you, sometimes with answers you didn’t write. | You decide where to apply, and focus on roles worth it. |

Real jobs, straight from the employer.
Job scams cost U.S. job seekers about $501 million in 2024, often through copies of real postings placed on open job sites.1 Two in three job seekers say they’ve suspected a listing was never meant to be filled.2 JobVega skips the middlemen. Every job comes from the employer’s own careers site, and when the role closes there, it leaves your list.

We watch the sky. Nobody watches you.
There’s no JobVega profile for anyone to find. Your résumé is used to grade jobs for you and to make JobVega’s grading better.
- No public profile, no “open to work” badge.
- Shared with employers or recruiters only if you ask.
- Never sold.
- Never given to anyone to train their AI models. If you connect your own assistant, its provider’s terms apply to what it receives.
- Delete your account, and everything in it goes with it.
