You bring a resume.
JobVega does the reading.
No profile to build, no career history to retype. Here is everything JobVega’s AI does between your upload and your shortlist, and how your own AI assistant can use it.
Seven steps, two of them yours
Every result along the way is also there for your own AI assistant, if you connect one.
- You
Upload the résumé you already have.
The same PDF or Word file you’d send an employer. JobVega’s AI reads your experience from it, and you check what it read: your fields and years, your level, your degrees. There are no forms to fill in.
- You
Set your preferences.
Where and how you want to work, how many office days, company size, travel and the lowest pay you’d take. You can change them anytime, along with the bar a role has to clear before it reaches your inbox.
JobVega collects every new opening, and researches every employer.
Every day, it gathers new postings directly from employers’ own career sites, across every function. Its AI also researches each employer: office days, remote hiring, time off, equity and more.
A first pass sets aside what can’t fit.
Jobs whose posted pay is below your minimum, that sit at the wrong career level, or that are outside the area you’re willing to work in are dropped. JobVega’s AI gives every other job a quick first read against your résumé, and only jobs that could plausibly fit go on. Astronomers survey the whole sky, then point the telescope at what deserves a closer look.
Every job that could fit is read in full, automatically.
No button to press, no job to open first. Each posting is broken into its real requirements, must-haves and nice-to-haves. Each requirement is graded against your experience as met, mostly met, partly met, weak or not met, with a one-line reason.
You get a ranked shortlist.
Jobs are ranked by fit score. Open any one to see the full grading, the pay range when it’s posted and the employer’s profile. Your first scores arrive within about five minutes of setting up.
Strong new fits come to you.
When a fully analyzed posting clears the bar you set, JobVega emails you. Every alert is a checked fit, not a maybe. You never have to check in.
Fit, the way a hiring manager means it.
Keyword matching asks whether a word appears on your résumé. JobVega asks whether you’ve done what the job asks, at the level it asks, in the field it asks about. Think of a job as a constellation of requirements: we light up the ones you meet and show you the shape.
- The field matters. “Three years of process engineering in a semiconductor fab” is not the same as three years of process engineering. JobVega knows the difference.
- Years are counted carefully. Required experience is checked against the experience that actually applies, not your total career length.
- Alternatives count. When a job asks for “a degree in computer science or equivalent experience,” either path is enough.
- Examples stay examples. “Experience with tools like Tableau or Looker” doesn’t sink you because you used Power BI.
- Must-haves weigh more. A gap in a nice-to-have barely moves your score. A gap in a must-have does.
Measured against a reference. Like Vega.
Astronomers long checked their measurements against Vega. We check ours too. Every change to the grading is tested against a reference set of real jobs and real résumés before it ships, and so is the first pass.
Ten minutes from you. Every day from JobVega.
